We look forward to receiving your proposal based on our guidelines. The proposal gives us an idea of your project in a clear and succinct manner. On submission, your proposal will be read by the Commissioning Editor at G & M, who will send it for review by one or more external advisors chosen by us for their specialist expertise.
The proposal should consist of:
- The proposed title and subtitle of the book
- A brief description of the project’s scope and content
- Market and Competition - provide details of the primary market for your project in terms of size, level and course type.
- Detailed Table of Contents
- Sample Chapters - where possible, include two sample chapters that are integral to your project
- Additional Information - outline the extent of the project in terms of word count or number of pages.
- Ancillary Material - list any ancillary materials that you feel may be necessary or beneficial to the project.
- Reviewers Suggestions - if you are aware of individuals in the field, who might be particularly helpful in evaluating the sample material, please include a list of their names.
- Curriculum Vitae - please submit a very brief but up-to-date curriculum vitae.
